Sometimes I wish I drank coffee...

I've tried hard. Made it through four years of university with making it through a single cup. Sat through numerous of "fika" being boring and drinking tea. My husband has tried giving me the bottled Frappuccini. And no, it doesn't matter if you do it with tons of milk (even if the milk comes by the gallon).

I just don't like coffee.

In today's morning paper (that takes an hour to read through since you're supposed to have lots of time on a Sunday - in a house with two kids, the time for breakfast is exactly the same no matter the weekday) there was a one page ad for Starbucks new holiday tastes...

For a Christmas freak like me, "gingerbread latte" really sounds good.

Maybe I should make one more try...

Awwwwww....Not drinking coffee...My hubby is just like you...I have tried everything with him, but NO!

TOO bad that you cannot enjoy the lovely Gingerbread latte, or my favorite Pumpkin Spice Latte OR the Peppermint mocha.
But, girl, there is always chai tea latte. Do you like that? I think it tastes just like X-mas!

If you want to FEEL like you're doing the coffee thing, try a Chai Tea Latte form Starbucks. My husband hates, absolutely hates coffee and for years he resented my love affair with Starbucks. Then a co-worker turned him on to Chai Tea lattes and he is as bad as me now.
Otherwise don't feel bad. Coffee isn't all that great for you. Turns your teeth yellow, raises your blood pressure etc, etc. Feel good about saving yourself four dollars a day!

Ok, I guess I have to try the Chai Tea Latte next time I pass by Starbucks... and maybe just order a small Gingerbread Latte... who knows... maybe the cookie taste is what will reform me! ;-)
