For the first time in years I actually spent a day at the mall today - nice! Browsing around the stores in the cool indoor air, eating lunch at the food market, looking at all the people in line outside the Apple Store to get their iPhones to work...There are tons of sales - but I actually managed to leave with only one small bag. How about that! I just enjoyed a day on my own, and browsing around. Shopping came in secondary.

Visst är det galet att folk fortfarande kör för att köpa iphones!!! Här utanför Apples stora "flaggskeppsbutik" på 5th ave var det kravallstaket utställda när den nya iphonen släpptes. Och detta var ju ändå ett tag sedan, men folk köar fortfarande! Otroligt!!!

Having said that,my eldest is very thrifty and buys some lovely things quite often in the sales. She even checks on the web to see if the particular store has it cheaper on there.

Saltistjejen - jag tror de är out of stock... de som köar står där för att få dem att funka... Tyckte synd om dem - jag var inne i en butik tvärsöver en lång stund - men kön hade inte rört sig när jag kom ut.

Britgirl - haha - oh, not to self - do not take teen age girl to the mall! Sales are amazing here - I hardly ever buy anything at regular price. It'll be 30-50% off a bit later... Moms sure need time to themselves! Don't know why the Husband keep texting me... ;-)
